Bookstore

The Word Guild operates a bookstore during the Write! Canada conference, offering a good selection of books related to writing and editing as well as books written by our faculty or other attendees.

Many Write! Canada attendees love browsing through the resources, where they pick up helpful and motivational books about writing for themselves, or autographed copies of the latest releases to present as gifts for family and friends.

The bookstore will host an Autograph Party after the "Brag Time" for authors on Friday evening, where you can meet many of the authors attending the conference, take photos and get copies of books personalized.

Be sure to bring some spending money. Or, if you have an upcoming birthday or special event, ask family and friends to give you gift certificates from The Word Guild, which you can spend at the bookstore. Email The Word Guild to order gift certificates.

We prefer payment by cash; credit cards also are accepted. The bookstore opens at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday in the gymnasium and closes at noon on Saturday.

Note that the Guelph Bible Conference Centre operates a separate gift shop, which stocks some general Christian books.
