Volunteer

Are you planning to attend Write! Canada? Is this your first conference? Do you want to experience the best of this conference? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions… we need you!

One way to get the most out of the conference is to volunteer to help out. A conference of this size takes many people both to organize and to operate. Write! Canada registration fees are significantly lower than comparable conferences in the U.S. We keep the registration fees as low as we can, to enable as many people as possible to attend. That is only possible by volunteers doing much of the advance planning of the conference, and by people pitching in to help on-site during the conference. We could use your help!

You'll meet new people and feel part of a community of Christian writers and editors. It'll offer you opportunities to get to know both The Word Guild leadership and members in a deeper way, and also many faculty members. And it's a lot of fun!

We have simple volunteer roles available to help make the conference operate smoothly, including classroom assistants, ushers, dining room hosts, setup and cleanup crew.

Last year was a great success with more than 100 volunteers!
